Less than 24 hours before everyone can get their hands on NetherRealm’s Mortal Kombat 11. Though we did have an extensive leak earlier last week regarding Frost’s return – and redesign – the studio themselves wanted to give her a big reveal and that’s exactly what we’ve got with the latest Mortal Kombat 11 trailer.

For those that may be unfamiliar with who Frost is, “While certainly not on par with that of Sub-Zero’s, Frost’s cryokinetic powers are extremely potent. Rather than relying on freezing the opponent directly, she freezes a large area of the ground in front of her, thereby increasing her range and improving her odds of connecting with an enemy. She can also slide into the opponent and knock them down, as well as execute an uppercut by teleporting away from the opponent and reappearing behind them. Finally, her freezing powers allow her to create two small daggers made of pure, concentrated ice that she uses in battle. Overall, she may not be as powerful as her mentor, but she makes up for it with her superior speed and strategic potential.”

From a leak earlier last week, fans were able to see her overall look, but this video dives deep into how her design changes hone into her as a character. It’s also official gameplay, giving Mortal Kombat lovers a chance to see how brutal Frost can directly from the studio behind the highly anticipated fighting game.

With Spawn and Joker rumored to be on the way as well as DLC, the roster for Mortal Kombat 11 is shaping up to be one of the best. We’ll have to wait and see as far as the DLC characters go, though for now, players can see the latest revelation above while we wait for the game’s full release on April 23rd for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
