New Mortal Kombat 11 Datamined Leak Reveals 19 Possible DLC Characters

It looks like we might be getting more than 12 DLC fighters if the latest leak is to be trusted
This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

Though Mortal Kombat 11 is finally here for players to enjoy, that doesn’t mean that the dataminers have taken any time off from trying to uncover what’s happening next. A new leak has surfaced found within the game’s files that hints at 19 possible DLC ‘kharacters’ on the way, making even more content than the previously confirmed 12.

The below image shared by Reddit user ‘thethiny‘ was taken from the Cheat Engine on the PC version of the fighter. DLC8 was already known, but DLC19 is newer information that seems to confirm earlier leaks were specific to fighters, not new stages:

With so many fan favorites missing from the current roster (looking at you, Mileena fans), the latest leak does offer hope that even more klassic fighters could be making their way into the latest fighting game.

Disclaimer: As with all leaks and rumors, take all reports with a grain of salt until NetherRealm themselves actually confirms the new content. This is something we say with every piece like this, and it’s important to remember that this information is unconfirmed – no matter how exciting it may be.

Another thing to note is the 19 number. We already know that Kombat Packs are on the way, and 19 can’t be evenly distributed, though Shan Tsung could be argued that he’s considered to be separated based on his individual release.

We’ll know soon enough as NetherRealm continues to keep their community in the loop regarding upcoming changes and content. As for the game itself, Mortal Kombat 11 is now available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
