For months now, Hunters have been able to join the beautifully dangerous world of Monster Hunter’s latest expansion: Iceborne. Unfortunately, as with all previous Monster Hunter World content, PC players were left in the dust as they awaited the eventual release date for that particular platform. Luckily, the wait is finally over because not only does Iceborne have a brand new PC trailer, but an official release date as well!
With Ultra-widescreen support, high-rez textures, DirectX 12 support, and uncapped framerates, the Monster Hunter: World Iceborne PC port is a dream come true for adventures that want to have the most optimized monster hunting experience they can. It’s unfortunately that expansions and subsequent DLC are always a few months behind consoles but at least they are on the way – it could definitely be worse.
The adventure arrives when Monster Hunter: World Iceborne comes to PC on January 9, 2020. For more about what PC players can look forward to, here’s what Capcom had to say about their latest expansion:
“The Iceborne expansion builds on every aspect of Monster Hunter: World, starting with an all-new story that picks up after the main game and whisks hunters away to a newly discovered chilly locale called Hoarfrost Reach. The snow-covered terrain offers an ecosystem that contrasts areas in the main game and progressively expands with the story. Iceborne is set to offer the largest region in the game so far, presenting hunters a wealth of new content with even more quests to face than in the original release.”
