Last week, during its pre-E3 press conference, Microsoft announced its Xbox Play Anywhere program, in which players can purchase both Xbox One and PC versions of certain games and carry over their progress without missing a beat. Now, it was just a matter of finding out which games would be a part of the program.
Today, we know. Microsoft has confirmed the first games that will be part of the Xbox Play Anywhere campaign, with a few coming in just a few weeks. The titles are below:
-Gears of War 4
-Forza Horizon 3
-ReCore
-Sea of Thieves
-Halo Wars 2
-Scalebound
-Killer Instinct Season 3
-State of Decay 2
-Ark: Survival Evolved
-Cuphead
-We Happy Few
-Crackdown 3
Again, the program works both ways, so if you buy the PC version, you’ll get the Xbox One edition for free, and the other way around as well.
Killer Instinct Season 3 should be set for the program shortly (if it’s not already), and Forza Horizon 3 and Gears of War 4 should be closely behind.
