Jack Tretton, boss of Sony America has confirmed once more that Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is definitely going to be a PlayStation 3 exclusive title.
This information was revealed whilst Hideo Kojima spoke at E3 today, showing off new (for the West) footage from the upcoming title. It was also confirmed that the game will definitely be coming in spring next year.
The trailer had more on who Snake is hired to kill and detailed his history; ol’ camo-pants-gravel-throat Solid Snake is going after Liquid Ocelot again.
Apparently, Mr. Kojima says, this is to be the last Metal Gear Solid title. The big man explained the release, though still a stealth-based game, had varying gameplay styles, with the use of dynamic cover being a key element.
Vamp is back too, which should be interesting.
Nothing playable for journalists as of yet, but apparently there will be come July 17th, Kojima promised, at PlayStation Premier, an event held in Tokyo.
