Famitsu has revealed two characters we didn’t know would be featured in the upcoming Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.

The characters, as you may well know, have in fact been featured in the game before; they go by the name of Mei Ling (who was in MGS1) and Rosemary (from MGS2).
Mei Ling is a slightly proverb-obsessed data-analyst, and was in the support team for the Shadow Moses Incident (MGS1).
Rose was Raiden’s girlfriend in the previous games, a systems analyst and support to Raiden brought in by the Patriots in The Manhattan Incident (MGS2).
The reason for the involvement of these characters isn’t clear in the article, so it’s anyone’s guess really.
