Congrats to Media Molecule! The company, who has thrived on its success with its LittleBigPlanet games on PlayStation 3, have announced that, due to its huge community, it’s seen seven million levels created for the all-ages platforming romp. That’s really saying something, considering how long it takes to really put together a good level. (Like an hour or so, thankfully. Not days.)
Anyway, to celebrate, the company released a special poster over on its blog with all sorts of fun facts about the game, as well as a big thank you to the community that made it happen.
Just a snippet of one of the fun facts of the game, taken from the blog: “We wanted to celebrate this incredible milestone with some hardcore statisfaction – for instance, did you know that there were 37,641 levels published just last week? That’s 5,377 levels per day, meaning for every minute of the day, 3.7 levels are uploaded.”
