The final piece of the puzzle for Mass Effect 3 will soon slip into place as Electronic Arts and Bioware are preparing one more massive download for the sci fi epic that should satisfy those who were dissatisfied with how the original game ended. Until then, we have details on a new multiplayer expansion that should hit the game soon.
According to a Sony Hong Kong website, a product description explains that the new chapter will bring additional content to the game (and free of charge), and will be focus primarily on multiplayer. Here’s the description as it read from the product page, before it was removed…
“The Rebellion Multiplayer Expansion opens two new fronts against the Reapers: Firebase Jade’s jungle reservoir and Firebase Goddess on Thessia. In-game reinforcements packs now include three new weapons as well as equipment, consumables and six new classes: Quarian Engineer and Infiltrator, Vorcha Soldier and Sentinel, Phoenix Adept and Vanguard. The battle continues – hold the line!”
There’s no word on whether any single player content will be added, but those who can’t get enough of saving the universe alongside their friends will no doubt get a kick out of this new pack. We’ll let you know more release details as soon as they’re confirmed!
