A truly great CB can shut down half of the field and take away a QB’s favorite passing option. There has been a boom of big CBs lately who like to play physical press-style coverage to attempt to slow WRs down. Other CBs play off coverage and have raw ability that allows them to run and cut with any WR. Look beyond the Overall rating to check size and speed to know which type of CB is out there and how he can be best utilized! Some players might be best when playing man-to-man, while others may be more effective in zone coverage.
