Lost Ark, like every MMO before it has had some serious server troubles over the past week as the game saw a huge number of players checking it out at launch. This problem was especially noticeable in Europe where the server queue times and congestion were by far the longest.
Lost Ark Europe West Server Region Launches Today, Offers Free Rewards For Players

The team at Amazon Games and Smilegate RPG announced earlier this week that a new European server region would be added in the coming times to alleviate the congestion.
Today on the Lost Ark forums, the team announced that the European West server region will go online Today, February 17, at 12pm EST. The team also shared some more information on what players can expect from the new region.
“We expect opening a new region to reduce, not eliminate, queue times for Europe Central. However, players choosing the new Europe West region are much less likely to experience long queues. Please note, if you move to the new region you will continue to be able to use your Royal Crystals and Crystalline Aura but no redeemed, claimed, or acquired items move with you”
Players who move to this region will also receive the first ten days of daily login rewards for free so they don’t miss out on those items when making the transition since moving regions will not carry items over with them.
Europe West players will also receive a special daily attendance reward for the first ten days in addition to the normal ones.

If you have purchased a Founder’s Pack before February 14, 2022, you will receive another Founder’s Pack when you move over to one of these servers.
