Live-Action Resident Evil series Releases This July

This Resident Evil series is being produced by Andrew Dabb, most known for his work as a producer and writer on the hit show Supernatural.

We don’t have a ton of details on this new live-action version of Resident Evil, but last year we got the cast list and it has some heavy hitters.

Most notably, Lance Reddick is playing the role of Albert Wesker, Captain of the S.T.A.R.S organization and eventual series villain.

The show will focus on Jade Wesker as she fights to survive in New Raccoon City. She will have to deal with her father’s connections to the zombie outbreak, and uncover the mystery of what happened to her sister Billie.

Resident Evil will launch this summer on July 14 as part of the Netflix streaming platform. Netflix also unveiled some new artwork for the series to hold fans over until we receive more news and eventually a trailer.
