During the Apple Event today, the brand new iPhone 12 was announced. With a massive push for 5G and many other improvements, Apple had a few surprises up its sleeve.
During the event, Apple announced that a mobile version of League of Legends will be coming to the iPhone 12. Thanks to the powerful and fast 5G connection, players can expect high-performance gameplay for a highly competitive game like League.
This new version, titled League of Legends Wild Rift, will be available at some point in the future. No more details were given about the game during the event.
It’s no surprise Apple is partnering with a vast game franchise to help carve out their space in mobile gaming. Especially since Apple and Epic games have not been playing nicely together for a few months.
You can find some more details about Wild Rift on the official website here.
The official description of the game is as follows.
“Team up with friends and test your skills in 5v5 MOBA combat. All the high-skill competition you crave, designed especially for mobile and console with revamped controls and streamlined matches.”
You can also watch the announcement trailer below, which gives us a great look at what we can expect from this mobile version of the game

There were plenty of other announcements today like the iPhone 12 mini and the Homepod mini during the Apple Event. It was a big day for Apple and tech fans alike.
