Late Night With Jimmy Fallon has become a steady destination for video game reveals, as the host usually welcomes people like Nintendo’s Reggie Fils-Aime, developers from Naughty Dog and others to unveil their latest projects to a television audience.  And last night was no exception, as the PlayStation 4 made its TV debut with a demo for Killzone: Shadow Fall.

Managing director for Guerrilla Games, Hermen Hulst, showed the game off to Jimmy and his audience, as well as TV viewers and guest Anthony Anderson.  Along with showing off the PS4 controller (complete with touch pad), Herman walked everyone through the demo, which lasted a good three minutes.  And while it didn’t hold any genuine surprises (it was pretty much the same thing that was shown at the press conference), hearing Jimmy and his guest react to it was nothing short of golden.

You can watch the footage for yourself below and hear Hulst talk about more features in the game – that is, when Jimmy isn’t exploding in awe.  Hey, who wouldn’t be?

Killzone: Shadow Fall is slated for release sometime during holiday 2013.
