While news and information concerning the resurrection of the Killer Instinct brand on Xbox One continues to trickle out of E3, we’ve learned that competitive fighting game fans are in for a treat next month. According to Microsoft, the Double Helix developed fighter will have a brand new demo available to play at the Evolution Fighting Game Championship, taking place July 12-14 at the Paris Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV.
While the version of Killer Instinct playable on the E3 show floor is roughly five-to-six weeks old and features Jago and Sabrewulf, the updated build at Evo is said to include additional gameplay mechanics as well as the hands-on debut of Glacius. If you’re already planning to attend Evo, prepare to get your hands on this next-generation fighter. If you haven’t made travel arrangements, be sure to head over to Shoryuken.com for full details on the event. We’ll have more on Killer Instinct in the near future.
