One of the more curious game releases this summer is XSEED Games’ Killer Is Dead, an action/adventure produced by Suda 51, creator of such titles as No More Heroes and Lollipop Chainsaw.  It’s a fun, stylish game where you assassinate targets while dealing with deceptive, beautiful ladies at every turn.  Fortunately, you won’t have to wait long to get your hands on it.

XSEED has announced that the game will be released in the U.S. on August 27 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, retailing for $59.99.  In addition, the first release of the game will come with various goodies at no extra charge, including an 80-page hardcover art book, a CD soundtrack that includes 25 songs from the game and a Smooth Operator DLC pack, which includes such items as a pair of Gigolo Glasses and two bonus missions featuring the seductive Betty and the vampiric Sebastian.

It sounds like quite the package – and a must for fans of Suda’s work.   You can read our First Look here.
