Jin Voice Actor Daisuke Tsuji Agrees to ‘Butt Nudity’ if Cast in Live Action Ghost of Tsushima Film

Give the people what they want, Sony.

Following Sony’s announcement that Ghost of Tsushima is being adapted into a movie, there’s been a lot of talk about who would be a good casting choice to play the main character, Jin Sakai.

The most common suggestion points back to Jin’s voice actor in the game, Daisuke Tsuji. Not only does Tsuji lend his voice to the character, he also lends his face (and butt) as well.

Based on a recent tweet, it sounds like he’d be perfectly ok with reprising the role, butt scenes and all.

Jin Voice Actor Daisuke Tsuji Agrees to ‘Butt Nudity’ if Cast in Live Action Ghost of Tsushima Film

Daisuke Tsuji recently tweeted a reply to a tweet from Bryan Dechart (Connor in Detroit: Become Human) calling for people to retweet if they want Tsuji as the live action Jin Sakai in the recently announced Ghost of Tsushima film adaptation.

In Tsuji’s reply, he makes a strong case for casting him as he notes that he “fully agrees to doing butt nudity” in the film.

The idea of Tsuji as Sakai in a live action Ghost of Tsushima film makes a lot of sense given that Tsuji is the voice, face, and butt of the character in the game. There’s even a clip of Tsuji playing Ghost of Tsushima where he happily remarks “Yes!” after seeing his butt in a hot springs scene before asking aloud why he’s saying “Yes!” to his own butt.

In our opinion, the idea of a Ghost of Tsushima film without a Jin Sakai hot springs butt scene is as empty as an adaptation of The Witcher without a Geralt bathtub scene. We hope Sony includes a cheeky hot springs scene in the adaptation – give the fans what they want Sony – and that they seriously consider Daisuke Tsuji for the role.

Butts aside, Tsuji has acting experience outside of video game voice acting for games like Prey and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. He’s played roles like the Crown Prince in The Man in the High Castle, Yoshi Takatsu in Brockmire, and is currently filming for a TV series called Invasion where he’ll play Kaito Kawaguchi.

We could see him absolutely nailing the role of Jin in the live action Ghost of Tsushima movie, and it’d provide some nice continuity between the game and film adaptation. We’ll have to wait and see if Tsuji does get the opportunity to reprise his role as Jin, but as soon as casting is announced for the film, we’ll be sure to share those updates with you.

Until then, what do you think of the idea of butt nudity in the live action Ghost of Tsushima movie? Yay, nay, heyyyy? Share your thoughts with us on our social media channels including Facebook and Twitter!
