Not even a couple of weeks after Sony unveiled a new model of its PlayStation 3 system (with a neat flip-top cover and a sleeker design), some game companies are already stepping up to produce limited edition versions of said systems.

While we wait for the Assassin’s Creed III bundle to drop on October 30th here in the States, Japanese gamers get two awesome options to choose from very soon.  Releasing in Japan on December 6th is a limited edition Yakuza 5 system, approved by Sega, featuring a golden controller and Yakuza emblems strewn across the console, as well as a 250 GB hard drive and a special themed USB drive.  Oh yeah, and a copy of the game.

Meanwhile, if you’re a fighting fan, you’ll also take interest in Tecmo Koei’s Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage 2 bundle, featuring a system with characters strewn across both the system and the controller in solid black and white.  You’ll get a copy of the game with it as well.  It’s got a 250 GB hard drive as well, and drops December 20th.

If you like limited edition systems, start stacking up that yen now…
