iPhone 5 Announced, Coming Next Week

It's time to upgrade. Again.

Oh Apple. Just when we’re getting around to enjoying a piece of your current tech, you turn right around and upgrade it again and give us a release window with just enough time to hurry in for a pre-order. You’re so nuts.

Anyway, today the company officially unveiled the iPhone 5, its latest in digital phone tech. The device features a new screen that’s four inches long, allowing for five (!) lines of apps, along with a 326 pixels per inch Retina display, a much thinner and lighter build (112 grams, baby) and letterbox support for older apps.

The device will also utilize LTE for faster downloads and uploads using “Ultrafast Wireless” technology. Because it’s ultrafast, see?

The iPhone 5 is set to hit stores on September 21, but the price won’t set you back an arm and a leg. You can choose between 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB models starting at $199 and going through $399. If you’re looking for a iPhone 4S, you can look forward to a price drop next week.

Now then… when will Apple announce that iPad 4?
