Targeting the TE is a common offensive strategy in Madden 15. By learning how to shut down popular routes like the TE corner, you will improve quickly. Man to Man defenses are weak against the corner route, so you can start by shading your defenders outside.
Pro Tip: To do this, start by pressing the coverage audible button (Y or Triangle) and then flicking right on the right stick.
In zone coverage, focus on taking control of a hook zone and not paying attention to any underneath routes, drop to the corner and make the big interception. If you can “user” this route and keep a defender in the area, the QB will be spooked for the rest of the game!
