If you’re a Pokemon fan, feverishly picking away at his or her copy of Pokemon Black or White (1 or 2, mind you), then has GameStop got a treat for you.
In a promotional tie-in with Nintendo and the Pokemon Company, the retailer has announced a special promotion where users can stop in with their copies of Pokemon Black or White, 1 or 2, and download an exclusive new character for the game.
Her name is Meloetta, and she’s a Melody-based Pokemon who can change forms mid-fight, using techniques that she picked up while hanging around Café Sonata in Castelia City. The free Pokemon character will be available for download from March 4th through March 24th, for a limited time only.
And if you wish to learn more about Meloetta, the Pokemon Company also revealed today that a new short called “Meloetta’s Moonlight Serenade” is available for viewing, free of charge, through the Pokemon TV app, which can be downloaded for iOS devices here. Gotta catch ’em all!
Pokemon Black and White, versions 1 and 2, are available now for Nintendo DS.
