GTA 6 Trailer 3 News – More ‘Leaks’ Share Time and Date, Pricing Info
Yep, we got more hyped "leaks" - oh, boy!
The hype around the latest GTA game has been a pretty wild time for a long time now, but it feels extra wild this time around. And while a fair few of us are getting a bit tired of the ups and downs now, that doesn’t seem to be stopping the rumor mill.
A few hours before writing this article, TGG announced that he was quitting “Hopium” – in my humble opinion, a smart play. Every day, especially on days when Rockstar is known to make announcements about their online games, the community hypes itself up, only to be let down.
I’m no psychologist, but this cycle can’t be good for our mental health.
Let’s take the news of the day now again, and we are a little late to this. But an anonymous forum poster dropped a bombshell that GTA 6 would be delayed again, to be announced during the earnings call that’s set to take place on May 21 (today, as of writing) at 4:30pm, Eastern Time.
A little while later, another post emerged saying that this person worked closely enough to Rockstar to confirm there would be no delay, and even goes so far as to list pricing. According to this post, the standard edition will cost $69.99 and the premium edition $99.99.
So, apparently, we’ll get Trailer 3 two hours before the earnings call, at around 2:30pm ET. And you know what? I’m willing to bet nothing will happen. We won’t get squat. You know why? Because it’s Rockstar, and they’ll release the next trailer when they’re good and ready.
For all we know, this post above is a clown, and the anonymous post was correct – that there’ll be another delay. We just don’t know, and trying to follow all these threads will slowly drive us insane.
The joke’s on Rockstar, though. I’m already insane. Insane enough to turn my internet off and actually go outside, take a deep breath of fresh air, and relax. And I suggest that if this hype cycle has taken its toll on you, you do the same.
I want to bring you the latest news on all things GTA 6, but honestly, it’s just a cycle of pain right now. When there’s something official, be sure to check out the treasure trove that is GTA 6 Bible for info. It’s slowly growing and will soon be a premium spot to answer all your GTA 6 questions.
Grab a hot beverage and check out the post on everything we know about GTA 6, to get a full breakdown of both the current trailers (and the third, when it does go live), plus a host of other info we’ve collected.
Until we hear something, try to relax. Whatever happens now, we’re getting GTA 6 in less than six months. If there is another delay, it gives us more time to enjoy other games and break out of the toxic hype cycle for some fresh air, for a bit.
