Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Making Mobile Debut Next Month

The 80's are back, people!

When Rockstar Games has news surrounding Grand Theft Auto, it rolls with it. Just a week after debuting the latest trailer for the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto V, the company has announced that it is bringing the classic PS2 game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City back with a vengeance – on the mobile front, that is.

Seeing as how Grand Theft Auto III was quite the successful release for phones and mobile devices, Vice City was the next expected step, and we’ll be getting it for both iOS and Android devices starting December 6th, for the low price of $4.99.

This 10th anniversary edition of the game (man, we’re old) features the full Vice City game and all its side missions (as well as Philip Michael Thomas, from Miami Vice fame), as well as high-resolution graphics, updated character models, better controls with customization options, and Retina support for iOS devices. Of course, the newer devices, like the iPhone 4S and the new iPad model, are recommended over older models. As for Android devices, several are compatible, as follows…

Android Phones: Motorola Razr, Razr Maxx, Razr Maxx HD, Motorola Atrix, Motorola Photon, Motorola Droid Bionic, HTC Rezound, HTC One X, HTC One S, HTC Evo 3D, HTC Sensation, HTC Droid Incredible 2, Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Samsung Nexus S, Samsung Galaxy Note 1 & 2, Samsung S2, Samsung Galaxy R, Sony Xperia Play, Sony Xperia S, P, T & TL, Sony Walkman Z Series Media Player, Samsung Galaxy S2, Samsung Galaxy S3, Google Nexus 4

Android Tablets: Acer Iconia, Asus Eee Pad Transformer, Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime, LG Optimus Pad, Medion Lifetab, Motorola Xoom, Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 / 10.1, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, Sony Tablet S, Sony Tablet P, Toshiba Thrive, HTC Flyer, Google Nexus 7, Google Nexus 10

Enjoy Grand Theft Auto all over again. We sure will!
