When you aren’t playing Grand Theft Auto V, you’ll be able to access special in-game content utilizing an iPhone/iPad app that arrived on the App Store earlier this week.
The app is called iFruit, and it includes several functions that tie in with the game. You can download it here.
It has a number of primary features, including access to mobile Grand Theft Auto games, like GTA III and Vice City, if you have them downloaded to your device. Your first stop should probably be Los Santos Customs, where you can design your car and reserve certain license plates, then put in your custom order. The next time you start up the game, you should receive a phone call indicating that it’s ready for pick up.
Another huge part of iFruit is being able to take care of GTA V’s main canine, Chop, through a Tamagotchi-style simulator. With this, you can feed and take care of your dog, though he’s likely to become agitated if you leave him alone for too long – which could easily happen while you’re playing the game.
Check out all the details regarding iFruit over at Modojo, where they have a full breakdown.
Grand Theft Auto V is available now for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
