God of War Laufey Pre-Orders Come With Exclusive Armor and Other Bonuses

God of War: Laufey launches exclusively on PS5 next year, and Sony Santa Monica has announced that pre-orders will go live shortly. Ahead of that, the studio has broken down what you’ll get for pre-ordering the upcoming action title and what comes with the Deluxe Edition.
God of War Laufey Pre-Order Bonus Content
If you pre-order God of War Laufey, you’ll receive:
- In-game resource pack
- Last Wish Armor Set
- Phranque Golden Leaves Appearance (cosmetic)
For pre-ordering God of War Laufey, you’re getting an exclusive armor set for Faye and an appearance for Phranque. There’s also an in-game resource pack, which will probably include materials or potentially consumables to make the early hours a bit more manageable.
All things considered, this is a fairly standard set of goodies you’d expect from most pre-orders. There’s nothing particularly special here, but if you like the armor set, it’s definitely worth considering buying it early.
If you buy the physical edition, these bonuses will be available via download code.
God of War Laufey Digital Deluxe Edition
The Digital Deluxe Edition for God of War Laufey includes the following additional content:
- Dark Alchemy Armor Set
- Dark Alchemy Blade
- Dark Alchemy Bow Scales
- Dark Alchemy Catalyst
- In-Game Resource Pack
- Digital Mini Artbook
- Official God of War Laufey Digital Soundtrack
The cosmetics in this edition are Dark Alchemy-themed, and there’s also the resource pack, which I’m assuming is the same as the pre-order bonus. Additionally, you’re getting a mini artbook and the digital soundtrack. All in all, it’s pretty standard and not exactly something you need to have. I’d probably stick with the Standard Edition.
There is no additional gameplay content here outside of the Catalyst, and it really comes down to how much you like the Dark Alchemy armor set and accompanying cosmetics. Honestly, visually speaking, the armor set feels a bit out of place, especially where you start off in the game. I feel like it could be a bit too distracting and feels more like an end-game-level cosmetic.

God of War Laufey Release Date
God of War Laufey launches exclusively on PS5 and PS5 Pro on February 16, 2027.
