GameStop Teams Up With Steam To Sell Gift Cards

Another way to get your digital download on.

GameStop seems to offer everything when it comes to buying virtual goods, whether you’re buying cards for Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, or even the Zynga games.  Now it’s going the extra mile, announcing a new partnership with Valve’s Steam service.

The retailer has announced that it has begun selling Steam Wallet vouchers exclusively through their stores.  These come in $20 and $50 increments, as you can see from the photo, and they immediately add funds to your Steam account so you can purchase games and other goods without the need for a credit card.

There’s no word of any exclusive offers with the cards, but it’s nice to have an alternative if you’re not feeling so hot about leaving your credit card tied in with your account.  Be sure to keep an eye open for the cards soon!
