In a recent press release, Gun Media announced plans to port their hit multiplayer slasher Friday the 13th: The Game to Nintendo Switch. While an exact release date has yet to be confirmed for Friday the 13th: The Game Ultimate Slasher Switch Edition, a tentative “Spring 2019” window was noted.
One thing prospective players will likely be excited to hear in regards to the Nintendo Switch version is that it’s complete, meaning it includes all previously released DLC expansions both free and paid. For example, every Jason Kill Pack, both Counselor Clothing Packs, and the Emote Party Pack are immediately available in Friday the 13th: The Game Ultimate Slasher Switch Edition.
Addressing the upcoming release, Gun Media’s Director of Communications, Daniel Nixon, commented:
“We’re happy to be bringing Friday the 13th: The Game to the Nintendo Switch with the help of our partners at Black Tower and Nighthawk. The Nintendo Switch offers a unique experience, in both social settings and on the go, that we feel work very well with Friday the 13th: The Game.”
On Twitter, Gun Media went on to confirm plans to discuss details pertaining to the Nintendo Switch version of the game in their BEYOND livestream.
