Just like seasons from Fortnite past, Epic Games has begun teasing what’s next for the battle royale game with subtle teasers that make up a bigger picture ahead the current season’s official end. Fortnite season 9 will be kicking off on May 9th and the team has just dropped their first hint at what’s on the horizon:

After the big event that dropped earlier this week that allowed players to regain lost content – like the DrumGun – active players are definitely looking forward to what’s next. Just like previous seasons, every day will drop a new teaser ahead of the actual launch date later this week. It’s not too late to wrap up any challenges or last-minute level ups before this season ends, so make sure to drop smartly because the beginning of the end is now.
