However, something that’s sure to catch the eye of those who are still on the fence about subscribing to Fortnite Crew is the news that May’s Fortnite Crew bundle also includes full access to the Save the World PvE mode.

Fortnite Crew Pack for May 2021 Includes Deimos Outfit, Full Access to Save the World

If you’ve been pondering over whether you should subscribe to Fortnite Crew, a new incentive has been added for the May 2021 pack that’s pretty rad. Fortnite Crew subscribers will not only receive a new Outfit, they’ll also get full, permanent access to the Save the World PvE mode!

“May 2021’s Crew Pack features the skeletal soul-snatcher Deimos, not only a new Outfit in Battle Royale but also a new Ninja-class Hero in Save the World. Don’t own the latter?

No worries: May’s Fortnite Crew benefits include full, permanent access to the Save the World PvE mode! Active Fortnite Crew subscribers will receive the Pack plus Save the World (if they don’t already own it) starting at approximately 8 PM ET on April 30.”

Additional info regarding this full access to the Save the World PvE mode can be found at the bottom of the post on the Fortnite blog. Running through this info, it’s noted that Save the World will be “automatically unlocked” if you don’t already own it once you receive May’s Fortnite Crew benefits.

You’ll be able to play Save the World on any compatible platform as long as your Epic account is linked. Save the World can be played on Xbox One, Series X|S, PS4, PS5, and PC. If you unsubscribe from Fortnite Crew after the month of May, you will be able to keep your full access to the Save the World PvE mode.

You’ll also keep the Deimos Hero in Save the World, even if you unsubscribe from Fortnite Crew. If you already own Save the World, you’ll get the Deimos Hero with May’s Fortnite Crew benefits, so no worries there.

If Save the World isn’t really your thing, the Fortnite Crew bundle for May also includes the Deimos Outfit for Battle Royale along with items from the Neo Underworld Set.

“Alongside the Deimos Outfit, May’s Crew Pack comes with all others items from the upcoming Neo Underworld Set:

the Sorrow’s Edge Back Bling (a blade from a fallen traveler), the fate-grasping Sorrow’s Reach Pickaxe, the soul-comprised Doomed Echo Wrap, and the Deimos Skull Stalker Loading Screen.

When it comes to alternate Styles, the Deimos Outfit, Sorrow’s Edge Back Bling, and Sorrow’s Reach Pickaxe come in both black-and-red and black-and-green. These items also have a ghastly black-and-green Style in addition to the normal one.”

There’s a note for Fortnite Crew members to “stay tuned for each Tuesday in May for a special Fortnite Crew bonus” so be sure to keep an eye out for that. If you aren’t currently subscribed to Fortnite Crew but are considering it, the monthly subscription price is $11.99 (USD).

With your subscription, you’ll receive a new Outfit every month along with 1,000 V-Bucks. If you don’t have the Battle Pass for Season 6, you’ll get that with Fortnite Crew as well. For more on Fortnite Crew, check out the subscription’s official page on the Epic Games website.
