Final Fantasy XIV is Coming to Xbox

Throw wide the gates (for Xbox).

Final Fantasy XIV, the critically-acclaimed MMORPG that’s only been available for PC and PlayStation players, is finally opening its gates to a huge new player base. Xbox players will soon be able to join in as their own Warriors of Light to help with the numerous problems that land in Eorzea, meet countless new friends, and embark on one of the grandest adventures in the past decade of gaming.

Xbox Players will soon be landing in Eorzea

Final Fantasy XIV will be available for Xbox Series X|S sometime during Spring 2024. Before its release, an open beta will be available during the Patch 6.5X series, which is scheduled for later this year. Players who opt-in to the open beta will be able to continue their progress once the official Xbox launch happens.

The Xbox version will be for download only, meaning there won’t be any physical copies sitting on your game shelves. It’s promised to have faster loading times and 4K support for Xbox Series X.
