Final Fantasy VII Remake Included in March PS Plus Lineup

If you haven’t had the opportunity to dig into the breathtaking world of the Final Fantasy VII Remake, but you have a PS Plus subscription, you’re in luck as Sony is giving PS Plus subscribers the ability to download the Final Fantasy VII Remake in March.

The version on offer is the PS4 version, and this version is not eligible for the PS5 digital version upgrade. Of course, gamers who fall in love with the Final Fantasy VII Remake may decide it’s worth spending money on a full game purchase in order to access the PS5 upgrade.

Or, they may take an interest in things like the Yuffie DLC announced during the latest State of Play event. And in the event you really aren’t interested in Final Fantasy, the PS Plus lineup for March includes other stellar titles including 2019’s Remnant: From The Ashes.

Below, you’ll find the full list of games available to PS Plus subscribers in March

  • Final Fantasy VII Remake (PS4, not eligible for PS5 upgrade)

  • Remnant: From The Ashes (PS4)

  • Maquette (PS5)

  • Farpoint (PS VR)

All of the March PS Plus games are available to download from March 2 until April 5. The announcement post for the March PS Plus also reminds PS Plus subscribers that they have until April 5 to download Destruction AllStars, and until March 1 to download the February PS Plus lineup.

For February, Concrete Genie and Control: Ultimate Edition were offered, both of which are well worth taking the time to download. Overall, PS Plus has been on a roll with what they’ve been offering.

February offered Control: Ultimate Edition and now March is coming in with the Final Fantasy VII Remake.

Absolutely wild.

After reviewing the list of PS Plus games for March 2021, what are your thoughts? Are you eager to download the Final Fantasy VII Remake, even though it’s only the PS4 version and that version is ineligible for the PS5 upgrade?
