FFXIV Director Naoki Yoshida Teases Dawntrail New Jobs Via Strange T-Shirt

What could it mean????

During the Final Fantasy XIV Fan Fest keynote on July 28, 2023, director Naoki Yoshida teased fans about the two new jobs coming in the next expansion, Dawntrail. While not mentioning the jobs, Yoshida revealed a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles t-shirt, sending fans wild. What could it mean?

While we don’t have any idea what the shirt could be hinting at, we do know that the two new job additions will be DPS. A new melee DPS job and a new magical ranged DPS. Could we see the highly requested Beastmaster job? Or maybe a pirate themed-job like Corsair?

The t-shirt in question features all four of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with the words “Mutant Myahem” at the bottom. This will surely drive fans wild for the next few months until we get more information about the two new jobs.

Until then, we’ll have to wait and chew on everything we saw in the CG reveal trailer for the next expansion Dawntrail which launches in the Summer of 2024. It will be a while before we get more information on this expansion because it’s still roughly a year away.

For now, sit back, relax, and watch the new Dawntrail trailer. It will be our new hyper fixation. How do we end up going to the New World of Tural? When will Yoshi-P tell us about these jobs? How do the Ninja Turtles factor into all of this? Most importantly, why is Naoki Yoshida wearing two layers of black in over 100-degree heat? Hopefully, some of our questions will be answered sooner rather than later.
