With the next Super Smash Bros. game well into production for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, many players are wondering who the next additions will be to the ever-growing roster. That said, fans launched a recent petition in the hope of making a difference.
The petition, which can be found here, calls for Nintendo president Reggie Fils-Aime to be added to the roster for the upcoming sequel. The petition says that Reggie could “use Nintendo controllers and characters to his advantage as attacks.” The creators of the petition also want signers to contact series creator/producer Masahiro Sakurai about adding Reggie to the game.
When it comes to being a playable character in Smash, Reggie is open to the idea. During a recent stop on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, he stated, “You have to ask that to Mr. Sakurai. He’s the producer of the game, it’s his game. But if he wants, my body is ready.”
We certainly hope he joins the party.
Super Smash Bros. will release next year for 3DS and Wii U.
