Fall Guys Coming to Xbox and Nintendo Switch

When it was first released, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout was only available on PC (Steam) and PlayStation 4, with the game being offered as part of the free PS Plus lineup for August 2020.

Since then, developer Mediatonic has continued to support the game with regular patches, updates, and costume additions (including one for Sonic the Hedgehog).

If you’ve been itching to check out Fall Guys but you don’t play games on PC or PS4/PS5, you’re in luck as the game is coming Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X | S!

Starting with the Nintendo Switch announcement, a trailer for Fall Guys appeared during the Nintendo Direct on February 17. At the end of the trailer, it was confirmed that Fall Guys will be available on Switch sometime during Summer 2021.

An exact release date beyond “Summer 2021” has yet to be provided.

Adding to this, as of February 18, a post on Xbox Wire shared the news that Fall Guys will also be coming to Xbox One and Series X | S around the same time, Summer 2021.

Mediatonic has a lot more in store for the game, so even though the Switch and Xbox release of the game comes a year after its initial release, there should still be plenty to look forward to.

In the Xbox Wire post, Lead Game Designer at Mediatonic, Joe Walsh, noted:

“The rest of the team and myself at Mediatonic have been hard at work concocting more and more elaborate schemes for future content and I really feel Xbox players will be joining the Fall Guys shenanigans at a particularly exciting time. There’s a delicious selection of dapper costumes, imaginative rounds, features and improvements in the pipeline and I can’t wait to share them all with our lovely new Xbox audience this Summer.”

Or, as the Fall Guys bean creatures would say, “Wooo!”

Anyway We want to congratulate Mediatonic on the upcoming release of Fall Guys on Nintendo Switch and Xbox, and look forward to seeing what else the team has in store for the game in the future.
