Few things make us happier than more downloadable content for Techland’s Dying Light. Despite releasing in January, we still enjoy cutting off zombie heads while jumping between rooftops and climbing up walls.
We didn’t need another reason to continue playing this open world adventure, but we’re glad the developer plans to release The Following expansion later this year. Details are few, but the content will not only include a new map with what appears to be a rural-theme, but also dirt buggies to ride around in; the better to run over zombies with!
“For Dying Light: The Following, we’re adding a number of bold game-changers to create one massive expansion. Something big that will give the game a brand-new flavor. The new map alone is the same size as all the previous maps from Dying Light combined, so there is a lot we’re packing in here,” said Tymon Smektala, producer, Dying Light: The Following.
We hope to find out more over the next couple of weeks. Techland did reveal The Following will be part of the Dying Light season pass and sold separately in case you don’t want previously released stuff. With this in mind, expect more Dying Light coverage in the near future.
