Dragon’s Dogma 2 Fans May Soon Be Diving into a Free Demo

This demo is fighting to free itself.

If you’ve been eagerly anticipating the launch of Dragon’s Dogma 2, you are far from the only one. Fortunately, a demo may soon be approaching for Dragon’s Dogma fans to sink their teeth into. A Reddit user posted in the Dragon’s Dogma subreddit an update on Steam that references an ‘unknown app’ that is ‘free on demand’.

Of course, there has been no official confirmation, but it seems likely that the next free addition to Dragon’s Dogma on Steam will undoubtedly be a demo. This is due to the fact that Steam usually categorizes demos on the platform in this manner. Timing-wise, it also makes perfect sense. Dragon’s Dogma 2 will officially release on March 22, 2024.

Longtime and new fans of the Dragon’s Dogma series reacted positively to the news of a possible incoming demo. Many hoped that a demo would be released on both PC and consoles, which would provide players an opportunity to choose which platform they would prefer to play the game on. Either way, an upcoming demo will provide a much deeper look into the worlds of Vermund and Battahl, and what was undoubtedly the best part of Dragon’s Dogma, the battle mechanics.
