It’s been a while since we’ve seen a game from Doug Tennapel, creator of Earthworm Jim and the Neverhood.  Recently he made a comeback, announcing a new project with Pencil Test Studios called Armikrog, which he was hoping to get funded through KickStarter.

At first, the project was a little slow going, but we’re happy to report that in its final days, Armikrog reached full funding, happily meeting its goal of $900,000.  In fact, it went even further, assuring that the game would not only come to PC and Mac, but also the Wii U – it was added as one of the “stretch goals” for the project.

Congratulations to Tennapel and his team for meeting their goal.  We’ll bring you a first look at this clay-animated puzzle game in the months ahead.
