While brief, the trailer gives a small preview as to what you can expect from the game once it’s released in early December.

Dontnod Entertainment’s Twin Mirror is Now Available for Pre-Order

Dontnod Entertainment’s newest title Twin Mirror is set to release on December 1. Once it’s out, it’ll be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via the Epic Games Store. The game will also be compatible with the PlayStation 5.

If you know without a shadow of a doubt that you plan to purchase and play Twin Mirror, you can pre-order the game ahead of its release. The game’s pre-order price is $29.99 (USD).

Pre-orders have yet to go live on the PlayStation Store but will reportedly be live soon.

As added incentive, anyone who pre-orders Twin Mirror on the Epic Games Store will receive the game’s digital soundtrack for free on the game’s December 1 release.

If you pre-order the game for PlayStation 4, you’ll receive a free dynamic theme “inspired by the game’s main character Sam Higgs’ Mind Palace” according to the press release.

Dontnod is co-producing Twin Mirror with Shibuya Productions, and the game will be Dontnod’s first self-published game.

The official description for Twin Mirror reads:

“Sam Higgs was done with Basswood, West Virginia, but it seems it wasn’t done with him. When the former investigative journalist returns to his hometown to say a final farewell to his best friend, it soon becomes clear that there are more chapters to be written in his troubled history.

Forced to confront his past, Sam finds himself torn between reconnecting with his loved ones and using his unique intellectual abilities to uncover the town’s dark secrets. But how do you know who to trust when you’re not even sure you can trust yourself?

The award-winning storytellers at DONTNOD invite you on another thrilling adventure.

GRIPPING PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER

Lose yourself in a rich, intricate storyline anchored in the gritty reality of small-town America. As his investigation progresses, Sam will uncover a web of intrigue that winds through Basswood’s evocative locations and draws in its colorful residents.

ENTER AN EXTRAORDINARY MIND

The same deductive reasoning and memory visualization skills that made Sam such an accomplished investigative journalist can help him untangle this mystery. Reconstruct key events, revisit his past and more to unlock the truth buried deep within his unique mind.

CHOOSE YOUR OWN PATH

Every decision, every interaction, every discovery will influence the direction of Sam’s investigation and ultimately determine how much of himself he’s willing to sacrifice. There are no right or wrong answers – just follow your instincts and values to complete your story.”

If the concept has piqued your interest, you can either pre-order the game for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 (PS5 compatible), or PC via the Epic Games Store, or wait for the game’s release on December 1 to make a decision.

If you pre-order for PS4, you’ll receive a free dynamic theme, and if you pre-order on PC you’ll receive the game’s digital soundtrack for free on release day.
