Like last year, CD Projekt RED offered a pretty awesome ‘thank you’ gift for press and industry that came by to scope out new gameplay footage of their upcoming action RPG Cyberpunk 2077. Also just like last year, people decided to crap on the gift by flipping it on Ebay for hundreds of dollars. Now that one person has paid over 600 bucks on one of the jackets they were giving out, the devs are begging people to stop paying scalpers – especially since a similar version will be going on sale shortly.

The Cyberpunk 2077 reversible bomber jackets being gifted to viewers immediately found themselves on Ebay going for anywhere between 300-800 dollars. CD Projekt RED Business Development Director Rafal Jaki quickly took note and decided to take to Twitter to assure fans that paying this much is absolutely absurd and that they are coming out with a similar version available to all. Thankfully, they won’t cost hundreds of dollars.
Unfortunately, he didn’t mention when their store will update with the jackets, nor did he provide a price point, but the “available soon” is most assuredly exciting.
As for the game itself, CD Projekt RED’s brand new IP officially arrives on April 16th, 2020. For more about the game:
