There are more than a thousand toys that you can collect and use in the Toy Box. Some are available right from the start. Others can be unlocked by spending blue Sparks. Finally, others are collected in the Play Sets and Toy Box Games. As new Play Sets and characters are released in the future, there will be even more toys for you to use.
The following tables include information on a selection of the toys available at the release of Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes (2.0 Edition). It contains the name, the type of toy, and how it is unlocked. Plus we have included a check box so you can keep track of the toys you have in your collection and what you still need to get.
The function of a toy refers to how it interacts with characters or other toys. Here is a key for these attributes:
Air Vehicle: These vehicles can fly through the air and move off the edges of the land in Toy Box Worlds.
Breakable: This toy can be destroyed by attacking it or hitting it with projectiles or vehicles.
Builder: These are special townspeople that, when you put them into a Toy Box World, will start building their specific type of structures a little bit at a time.
Capsule: You can place down capsules to provide health or special move power for players to collect in your Toy Box Worlds.
Collectible: These objects can be used in games you create where players have to collect specific items.
Creator: These will automatically build a large structure or track all at once.
Critter: These are animal townspeople that can’t be destroyed, but you can still pick them up.
Custom: This toy can be connected with other toys for interaction.
Decoration: These are items that you can put inside your INterior rooms.
Enemy: Watch out for these toys. They can attack you.
Ledge Hang: These objects can be placed along the side of a wall or cliff and allow characters to climb up or hang on.
Mission Givers: These toys are non-player characters in the Toy Box and provide missions in the Play Sets.
Motorcycle: These are smaller ground vehicles that can be driven on land.
Mount: These animal toys can be ridden by characters.
Pack: This toy is carried on the back of a character and activated by pressing the attack button.
Physics Ball: This ball moves and bounces according to the laws of physics.
Physics Block: These blocks obey the laws of physics. They fall and some can break.
Rail Grind: Characters, even Cars characters, can grind on these toys. Connect them together for long periods of grinding.
Room: Expand your INterior by adding some rooms.
Sidekick: These small townspeople can follow you around and help attack your enemies.
Static: These toys just sit there. Come back later, they are still there. They can’t be destroyed.
Template: These are several toys connected together to create a mini game, which you can use individually or to make a larger game in your world.
Tool: This is a toy that can be carried by a character and activated by pressing the alternate attack button.
Townspeople: These small townspeople can be picked up, thrown, and even drop-kicked. They do not attack, nor can they be destroyed.
Track: Connect these toys together to create a race track.
Vehicle: These toys can be driven by characters, but stay on land—unless you drive off a cliff or jump.
NOTE
Customization Cluster is a type of terrain that can be changed when you use a magic wand to customize it. The default is Fantasy Terrain in the editor. However, by selecting a themed terrain toy, you can change the theme to any that you have unlocked. This terrain also changes when you place a texture set Power Disc on the Disney Infinity base.
The following tables containing all of the toys are organized in the same way that they are in the Toy Store to help you find them quickly.
