You would be hard pressed to find someone that doesn’t enjoy the weekend, but in the case of the one upon us, there are bound to be a lot of first-person shooter fans who can’t wait for the end of it. More specifically, fans of Destiny are undoubtedly geared up for the release of Expansion 1: The Dark Below, available this Tuesday, December 9, 2014.
Bungie and Activision did their part in fueling that excitement, today releasing the official trailer for the first expansion. It details much of the new content that players can look forward to getting their hands on, including new weapons, armor and gear. The Dark Below will also feature new story missions, three new crucible maps, and co-op challenges – including an all-new strike and six player raid.
Gamers can purchase the Destiny Expansion Pass, giving them access to all of the game’s planned content in the coming months, or The Dark Below individually. Doing so and redeeming by January 15, 2015 will give them free access to the EV-30 Tumbler Sparrow.
