Destiny – Expansion 1: The Dark Below Preview Trailer

There’s something very addictive about the Destiny universe. Perhaps it’s the pursuit of exotic weapons, or the need to pull off the perfect Strike. Maybe it’s both and then some. All we know for sure is that with Bungie releasing the preview trailer for Expansion 1: The Dark Below, that itch to grind for gear is stronger than ever.

In an epic four and a half minute trailer, the team behind Activision’s sort of massive multiplayer online game, but definite first-person shooter and action role-playing title, outlines all that Guardians can expect to experience when they get their hands on the title’s first DLC, including the following.

• New story missions
• New cooperative Strike
• New weapons, armor and gear
• Three new Crucible maps
  • Pantheon
  • The Cauldron
  • Skyshock
• New Raid / Crota’s end

While we don’t currently have all the details on every piece of armor or sliver of gear, that’s quite a bit of new content to keep gamers busy through the holiday season. For full details on the DLC, as well as an in-depth look at all the action, check out the trailer for yourself.

Expansion 1: The Dark Below is expected to release on December 9, 2014 for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, exactly three months after the game’s initial launch.
