Destiny 2 Izanagi’s Burden Quest Still Broken

by Liana Ruppert

If you want to the Izanagi’s Burden Quest in Destiny 2, you’re gonna have a bad time. For those Destiny 2 players out there doing their best to complete the Mystery Box challenge for Izanagi’s sniper but unfortunately, it’s not as easy as it seems and not just by design.

Bungie took to the web to share that there are new issues with Izanagi’s quest that carried over from the older issues, which means even more problems when trying to earn this coveted weapon. “We are aware of new issues regarding the Mysterious Box quest for Izanagi’s Burden and are currently investigating,” said the studio in their most recent Twitter post. “Players are encouraged to not use their Obsidian Crystals or Forge Keys until this issue has been resolved.”

With the Crucible being such a high-ticket event for farming chocolates for the Festival of the Lost, it makes sense why so many are anxiously awaiting this quest to be fixed. The sniper is one of the best PvE weapons out there, especially for those that like to play smartly from a position of advantage.

Luckily, it looks like Bungie is on the case and hopefully the quest can be fixed by the next reset. As for the game itself, Izanagi’s Burden quest aside, Destiny 2 is now available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Steam. Want some more Festival of the Lost Halloween help?
