Another new district in Cyberpunk 2077 has been revealed with an inside look at what Pacifica has to offer players in a world filled with tech and crime.
Pacifica is one of the six districts players can explore within Cyberpunk 2077’s Night City. In the video below, the devs over at CD Projekt RED dove deep into Pacifica with some interesting new gameplay to show off exactly what players have in store – including going all-in within the world wide web.
Pacifica is a very Haitian-driven area following a massive catastrophe that drove the community in droves to Night City while being protected by a group called the Voodoo Boys. At one point in time, Pacifica was referred to as the “Crown Jewel” of Night City before it lost its funding, which inevitably plummeted the area into deeper crime.
While some districts will offer splendor and flashing promises, Pacifica has been thrust into poverty and seemingly “abandoned” by the rest of Night City.
Players will be able to explore this district themselves when Cyberpunk 2077 makes its way to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on April 16, 2020. For more about the game itself and its protagonist V:
“In the most dangerous megacity of the future, the real you is not enough. Become V, a cyber-enhanced mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant — the key to immortality. Customize your cyberware and skillset, and explore a vast city of the future obsessed with power, glamour and body modification. The choices you make will determine the story and shape the world around you.”
