Cyberpunk 2077 Next-Gen Versions Coming Q1 2022 According To Quarterly Results

Developing a world as big as Cyberpunk 2077 is a daunting task, but couple that with a worldwide pandemic, it’s no surprise this game fumbled, it’s still a miracle any video game comes out with the current state of the world.

However, today CD Projekt Red put out a Q3 update with official information about the road ahead for both Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3. You can read an excerpt from the results below.

“We are hard at work on the next-gen version of Cyberpunk, scheduled for release in the firstquarter of 2022, alongside another major update for all platforms. There is also ongoing work on the next-gen version of The Witcher 3 and the Cyberpunk expansion. In parallel, we carry on with the transformation of our studio, which is affecting more and more production teams”

If you want to read the full results you can here.

So the next Gen versions of Cyberpunk 2077 are releasing in Q! Of 2022 alongside a new major expansion. We’re interested to see if CD Projekt Red can turn this ship around. The next-gen versions of the game have been delayed multiple times just like the initial release date for the game, but hopefully, the extra time has been enough for the team.
