The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt made fans super happy when CD Projekt RED offered free DLC post-launch and it looks like that trend will continue with the highly anticipated Cyberpunk 2077. The studio took to Twitter to confirm the good news, making it even more excited to "wake the F up" and become a Samurai.
When one fan took to Twitter to ask if Cyberpunk 2077 would offer free DLC post-launch like The Witcher 3, the studio responded with a hilarious Kool-aid GIF proclaiming "Ohhh yeaaaaah." While not an in-depth response, we can appreciate the directness, and this is just one of many reasons why November can't get here soon enough:
The road thus far has been rife with delays, most recently due to a global pandemic that is still very much a problem (unless you live in New Zealand). That being said, the studio hasn't been shy about making up for those pushbacks with exciting showcases highlight all of the things players can do in this massive open-world.
From total customization of characters, a 100% interactable environment and NCPs, and the ability to become BFFs with Keanu Reeves; Cyberpunk 2077 is arguably the most anticipated game of 2020. Here's hoping it is still releasing in 2020, though it looks like the delay until November may be the last.
One thing that we personally can appreciate about CD Projekt RED is that they go against the grain when it comes to launches. They'd rather delay a game many times that launch it before they are completely satisfied with the quality. While delays are always disappointing, ensuring a successful launch means great things for both the team and the gamers that are looking to dive in.
