Costume Quest Makes Its Way To iOS

The Double Fine classic hits the mobile front.

When it came out for consoles a few years back, Double Fine’s Costume Quest presented an entertaining – and humorous – take on questing, with trick-or-treating kids becoming unlikely heroes when a monster snatches their sibling. If you somehow missed out on the game before, don’t worry – it’s now available on the mobile medium.

Costume Quest is now available on the App Store for a very reasonable price of $4.99. Released directly through Double Fine – it previously came out through the now-shuttered THQ – the game retains a large portion of its console magic, but reconfigured with touch-screen controls. You’ll still be able to collect costumes, form a larger party, and take on challenging – yet fun – quests as you try and rescue your captured brethren.

You can download the game here. Be sure to check it out on consoles as well. It’s still a delightful game, and perfectly suited for Halloween, which is just a few weeks away.
