Alan Wake’s Remedy Entertainment first unveiled their upcoming IP Control during E3 2018 but much about the story was still very much a mystery. We knew it was going to be weird, we knew it was going to be dark, but Control’s new story trailer really drives home just how messed up this story is coming to be.
As seen in the video above, the character is talking about a weird dreamscape that falls in line with the supernatural thriller themes we’ve seen thus far in previous trailers. Though it doesn’t glean much in the way of plot points, the new trailer definitely sets a chilling tone.
Luckily, we won’t have much longer to wait in order to make sense of everything for ourselves because Control releases on August 27th.
