CD Projekt Red is the studio behind some of the most popular video game franchises in the world with its highly successful The Witcher franchise and its highly anticipated title of Cyberpunk 2077. With The Witcher has become a fan-favorite with players thanks to its various entries and Cyberpunk 2077 expected to be a blockbuster game, there is no doubt that fans will want to be playing these kinds of games for the foreseeable future. Fortunately for these players, CD Projekt Red recently revealed that it will be moving to a dual franchise model that will put these two franchises at the center.

According to a report by Polygon, CD Projekt Red revealed its decision to move to a dual franchise model focusing on The Witcher and Cyberpunk franchises in a financial report from the studio which covered the first half of this year.

You can find the official statement from CD Projekt Red below:

“Managing two separate major franchises, along with several independent development teams, enables the Company to conduct parallel work on several projects and smoothens its long-term release schedule,” the company says. “This migration towards a dual-franchise model supported by several independent product lines also permits optimization of manufacturing and financial activities, mitigates important risk factors and makes it easier for Company employees to seek professional fulfillment,” said CD Projekt Red.

With a dedicated focus on its two signature franchises, CD Projekt Red will be ready to deliver plenty of more experiences from The Witcher and Cyberpunk for fans to enjoy going into the future.
