Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is slated to release on November 13th on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 as well as PC, with next-gen versions also available when the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X launches.

The team over at Treyarch revealed exciting details, including the confirmation that this is a direct sequel to Black Ops 1 and a prequel to Black Ops 2, two highly regarding games in the franchise as a whole. The game will begin in 1091 and work from there following a US task force that fights back against a Soviet Agent by the name of Persues.

With a world on the brink of chaos, Black Ops Cold War will introduce players to new characters while also bringing in a few familiar faces like Hudgson, Mason, and Woods. While that is all interesting, that’s not the best info dropped yet. Arguably the most exciting reveal is that this game will offer more customization and player choice than ever before seen within this series, including an intricate character creator that will have an impact on the single-player story.

According to Eurogamer, players will choose how their character looks and their psychological profile, both impacting how the game plays and how your character talks and response to the world around them.
