For those skeptical about Borderlands 3, the latest game from Gearbox is offering a limited-time free-to-play weekend for some. The free play period starts a little early by kicking off today and will end on November 24th, just not for PC players, unfortunately.

For now, the free period is only available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players. For those gaming on the Google Stadia and through the Epic Games Store, there is no trial period available yet at this time. In terms of console players, those who had a blast with the free trial can enjoy a nice discount both on the Xbox Live Marketplace and the PlayStation store.

In other Borderlands news, the Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot DLC has been revealed. Players will be tasked with hunting a “Vault” of loot while taking out the remnants of Handsome Jack’s derelict casino, which will be a new adventure set to go live next month. According to Gearbox when revealing the new 3-player activity, “Moxxi’s assembling a crew to plunder a derelict space station casino and you’ve proven yourself worthy of joining her ragtag team of “experts.” Successfully battle your way through Hyperion security forces and crazed casino-goers to reach a safe loaded with Eridium, cash, and all-new Legendary loot!”

The Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot DLC goes live on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on December 19th, and the game itself is live on all platforms as well including the recently released Google Stadia for Founders.
